My name is ERICH 'HEINZ' RIGONAN and if you couldn't tell I am a bit of a sports enthusiast. I have over 15 years of experience in design and currently working as an Art Director and Sports Designer with a background in Music Management and A&R. Having strong skills in creative thinking, project management, and art direction, I develop and design brands that create an impact with a forward-thinking eye. Currently, I am pursuing my dream of being the Creative Director of a MLB organization in order to make a positive impact on a city's sports design scene.
As an instructor at The Remix Project's Creative Arts Program for Graphic Design, I share my experiences with students in order to help them realize their potential as entrepreneurs and designers.
Oh, and I'm a little obsessed with Baseball and Star Wars... like, a lot obsessed.

I've known Erich going on 20 years, and he is one of the few designers that I came up along side of that I look to for constant inspiration. Such and incredible understanding of branding and color and spacing and creating a sense of mystery in his work where the project allows. His typography game ain’t no slouch either. He also has a great sense of what’s next when it comes to trends in design, pop culture, music et al. I couldn't recommend Erich enough when it comes to helping define a vision for your branding and design needs.
We met over 15 years ago on the set of a music video and have watched each other grow as creatives ever since. In 2018, I hired Heinz as a Graphic Design Instructor for the Creative Arts program at The Remix Project and have watched him grow in the role teaching and sharing his experience as a designer. He has become a mentor to his students, always pushing them to challange themselves to be better designers. I've worked with Heinz on a variety of projects over the years and his attention to detail and level of execution continues to set the bar.

Erich has been a go-to for design for many years. Working within the health sector for many years, I wanted a creative outlet for myself during the pandemic, so I started a small business which needed a visual identity before launching. We started by discussing who I wanted my audience to be was and how I wanted to visually communicate to reach a diverse group of people while still keeping my voice and personality. He asked a lot of challenging questions about my brand that made me think about it in ways I never thought of before, which helped shape our plan on what I wanted to achieve with the brand identity. Erich came up with a fresh, forward-looking logo that will serve me well for years to come. With his design as my foundation, I've been able to complement it with photography and packaging that rounds out my brand's identity system.
